Best offshore trip in the Panhandle!
We ran about 25 miles out into the Gulf and absolutely crushed the red snapper. Limits came fast and we even picked up a nice cobia on the way back in. The water was crystal clear and flat calm — a perfect day out of Destin Harbor.

Trophy redfish day on Choctawhatchee Bay
Spent the morning poling the flats of Choctawhatchee Bay and sight-casted to tailing redfish in less than two feet of water. Landed seven solid reds between 24 and 30 inches. My clients had never done flats fishing before and they were absolutely hooked.

King mackerel were stacked up on the reefs
Trolled live cigar minnows along the nearshore artificial reefs and the kings were on fire. We boated six kings between 20 and 35 pounds in just a few hours. Also picked up a couple of nice Spanish mackerel for the cooler.

Incredible mahi run out of Destin Pass
Found a massive weed line about 40 miles south and the mahi were absolutely piled up underneath it. We lost count of how many we caught and released — easily over 30 fish. Kept our limit of beautiful bulls and had meat for weeks.

Speckled trout slam in the bay
Drifted live shrimp through the grass flats on the north side of Choctawhatchee Bay and got into a solid bite. We landed over 20 speckled trout, keeping our limit of nice 16- to 20-inch fish. The kids had an absolute blast.

Amberjack pulled our arms off!
Dropped butterfly jigs on some deep structure about 20 miles out and hooked into some monster amberjack. These fish fought like freight trains in 180 feet of water. We also boxed a few triggerfish for dinner — one of the best-eating fish in the Gulf.
