Offshore Out of Port Fourchon Was Incredible
Ran out from the southernmost port in Louisiana and were on the offshore platforms in no time. The red snapper were stacked up and we limited out fast. Then jigged up amberjack and triggerfish for the rest of the day. Shortest run to great offshore fishing in the state.

Inshore Action Right Out the Pass
Fished the marshes and bays right around Port Fourchon and the redfish were crushing topwater plugs along the grass lines. We also caught a nice mess of speckled trout around the oyster beds. The inshore fishing here is just as good as the offshore.

Yellowfin and Mahi in the Blue Water
Pushed out past the rigs into the blue water south of Port Fourchon and found yellowfin tuna crashing on the surface. Caught four nice fish chunking and then picked up a handful of mahi mahi under a weedline on the way in. Incredible diversity in one trip.

Marsh Redfish Were Tailing Everywhere
Explored the marsh east of Port Fourchon and the redfish were tailing in knee-deep water all through the ponds. Sight-cast to over 20 fish and landed the majority. The marsh down here is pristine and holds an incredible population of fish.

Jetty Fishing Was Red Hot
Fished the Belle Pass jetties at Port Fourchon and the action was nonstop. Caught cobia cruising the rocks, sheepshead on the pilings, and speckled trout in the current. The jetties here produce quality fish year-round and the variety is outstanding.

Rig Fishing Produced a Mixed Bag
Fished the oil platforms about 15 miles south of Port Fourchon and caught a mixed bag of red snapper, mangrove snapper, and grouper. The structure holds an amazing amount of life. Port Fourchon is the launching pad for some of the most productive reef fishing in the Gulf.
