Barnegat Inlet Stripers Were Stacked
Fished the outgoing tide at Barnegat Inlet and the Striped Bass were stacked up in the rips. Threw bucktails and soft plastics and had fish on every cast for two hours straight. Landed over 15 keepers with a couple beautiful fish over 35 inches.

Surf Fishing LBI Is Special
Hit the beach on Long Beach Island at first light and the Bluefish were chopping bait in the suds. Threw metal and had nonstop action until the sun came up. Switched to plugs and caught some nice Stripers too. LBI has some of the best surf fishing in Jersey.

Fluke Were Loaded in the Bay
Drifted the bay behind Long Beach Island and the Fluke were everywhere. Used Gulp and minnow combos bounced slowly on the bottom and hammered them all morning. Limited out with nice fish and had one doormat that went 8 pounds on the scale.

Fall Run Was Absolutely Epic
The fall Striped Bass run on Long Beach Island was one of the best I have experienced in 20 years of fishing the Jersey Shore. Schools of big fish were pushing bait against the beach and the surf was alive with breaking fish from Harvey Cedars to the inlet.

Night Fishing the Inlet Paid Off
Fished Barnegat Inlet after dark and the Striped Bass were feeding aggressively under the lights. Threw live eels along the rocks and hooked up with some serious fish. Landed three bass over 30 pounds including a monster 42-incher. LBI at night is magical.

Bluefish Blitz Was Nonstop
Hit the beach on LBI during a massive Bluefish blitz and the water was boiling with fish from the jetty to the horizon. Cast metal lures into the frenzy and caught fish on every single retrieve. Also pulled some nice Stripers from the same school.
