King Salmon Feeding Under the Glacier
Trolled the waters near Mendenhall Glacier and found king salmon feeding aggressively on herring at 50 feet. The combination of glacier-fed nutrients and bait creates a king salmon highway. Boated five kings from 20 to 48 pounds with the Mendenhall Glacier as our backdrop — only in Juneau.

Halibut Crushing in Auke Bay
Fished the halibut grounds off Auke Bay in 180 feet and the flatfish were eating on every drift. Six halibut to 70 pounds came over the rail — the 70-pounder was a 20-minute battle that had the whole boat cheering. Juneau's halibut fishing is consistent and the scenery is unmatched.

Rockfish Bonanza in Stephens Passage
Dropped jigs in Stephens Passage in 200 feet targeting rockfish and the bite was lights-out. Yelloweye, quillback, and black rockfish came up on almost every drop — full limits for a 4-pack charter in under 90 minutes. The deep water of Stephens Passage holds incredible rockfish biomass.
