Stripers in Fishers Island Sound Were Hot
Fished Fishers Island Sound out of Mystic and the Striped Bass were feeding on bunker all along the rocky shoreline. Trolled umbrella rigs and had steady hookups throughout the morning. Landed over a dozen nice stripers with several pushing 35 inches.

Blackfish Were Loaded on the Structure
Anchored on rocky structure in Fishers Island Sound and the Blackfish were chewing hard. Dropped green crabs and Asian crabs right on the bottom and caught fat Tautog on every bait. Mystic is one of the top blackfish ports in Connecticut.

Bluefish Blitz in the Sound
Hit Block Island Sound out of Mystic and found a massive Bluefish blitz on the surface. Cast metal jigs into the breaking fish and had them on every retrieve. Also caught some quality Stripers feeding underneath the blues. Incredible day on the water.

Fluke Drifting Was Productive
Drifted the sandy bottom of Fishers Island Sound and caught Fluke on every pass. Bounced bucktails with Gulp and had steady action all morning. Limited out with nice keepers and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Mystic coastline while fishing.

Fall Striper Run Through the Sound
Fished the fall Striped Bass migration through Fishers Island Sound and the fish were moving through in big schools. Jigged soft plastics along the channel and had aggressive strikes on every drop. Mystic in the fall is prime striper territory.

Mystic Is Charm and Fishing Combined
Mystic is a beautiful New England seaport town with surprisingly excellent fishing. We caught Stripers and Bluefish in the Sound during the day and then explored the charming downtown in the evening. A perfect combination of fishing and New England culture.
