Stripers Were Blitzing the Norwalk Islands
Fished the Norwalk Islands in Long Island Sound and found Striped Bass feeding aggressively around the rocky shorelines. Cast topwater plugs and had explosive surface strikes at first light. Landed over 10 quality stripers. The islands concentrate fish perfectly.

Blackfish Were Loaded on the Rocks
Anchored on the rocky structure around the Norwalk Islands and the Blackfish were biting hard on green crabs. Pulled fat Tautog up from the rocks all morning with several fish over 8 pounds. Norwalk is one of the best blackfish spots in Long Island Sound.

Bluefish Blitz in Long Island Sound
Ran out of Norwalk into Long Island Sound and found schools of Bluefish busting on the surface. Threw metal lures into the frenzy and had fish on every cast. Also caught some nice Stripers feeding in the same area. Incredible topwater action close to shore.

Porgy Were Biting Like Crazy
Anchored over structure in Long Island Sound off Norwalk and the Porgy were on fire. Caught them on small jigs and clam strips with the kids reeling them in nonstop. Great family fishing and excellent eating. Also pulled up some nice Blackfish on the same spots.

Fall Striper Migration Was Prime
Fished the fall Striped Bass run through Long Island Sound off Norwalk and the fish were moving through in big schools. Trolled along the island chains and had steady hookups on bunker spoons and umbrella rigs. Several fish over 30 inches. Prime fall fishing.

Norwalk Has Great Fishing Close to NYC
For anglers in the New York metro area Norwalk is an excellent option. The Norwalk Islands provide outstanding structure fishing for Stripers, Blackfish, and Bluefish right in Long Island Sound. We had a fantastic day and were back in time for dinner.
