Bluefin Tuna Were Everywhere
Ran offshore out of Montauk and found giant Bluefin Tuna feeding on the surface near the 100-fathom curve. Hooked three on the troll and landed two fish over 200 pounds after long battles. Montauk is the premier Bluefin port in the Northeast.

Striper Blitz at the Point Was Epic
Fished the famous Montauk Point at dawn and the Striped Bass were blitzing on the surface from the lighthouse to the rips. Threw big surface plugs into the chaos and had violent strikes on every cast. This is the striper fishing capital of the world.

False Albacore Had Us Running All Day
The fall False Albacore run at Montauk was in full swing and schools of fish were busting on the surface from Shagwong to the Point. Matched the hatch with small Deadly Dicks and had screaming runs on light tackle. Also picked up Bluefish and Stripers.

Shark Fishing Offshore Was Thrilling
Chummed offshore of Montauk and had Mako Sharks circling the boat within an hour. Hooked a beautiful 350-pound Mako that put on an aerial show before we released it. Also caught a couple Blue Sharks and a big Thresher. Montauk has world-class shark fishing.

Fluke Were Stacked at the Rips
Drifted the Montauk Rips and the Fluke were thick on the bottom. Every drift produced multiple fish on bucktails and Gulp. We limited out with fat summer Flounder and had a couple that pushed 8 pounds. The current at the rips concentrates big fish.
