Monster Halibut on the Banks
Launched out of the Quileute Marina and ran to the halibut grounds in 250 feet. The sonar lit up and the first drop produced a 78-pound barn door halibut that took 20 minutes to winch off the bottom. Ended with three halibut to 78 pounds — La Push delivers the big fish consistently.

Chinook Kings of the Coast
Trolled the La Push shelf break for Chinook and found a hot pod of kings in 35 fathoms. Six chrome-bright salmon hit the deck ranging from 18 to 30 pounds — all wild fish released carefully and four fat hatchery kings retained. This remote port produces the biggest kings on the Washington coast.

Lingcod Biting Hard at the Pinnacles
Worked a series of rocky pinnacles in 150 feet and the lingcod were aggressive on every drop. Five keepers to 25 pounds came aboard on big swimbaits fished tight to the structure. The remote waters off La Push see less pressure than anywhere else on the coast and the fish show it.
