Speckled Trout Bite Was Lights Out
Fished the reefs on the west side of Mobile Bay and the speckled trout were eating everything we threw at them. Caught over 40 fish using Vudu shrimp under popping corks. We kept our limits and released plenty of nice ones.

Delta Creeks Loaded With Flounder
Explored the back creeks of the Mobile Delta and the flounder were sitting on every sand patch. Hopped from spot to spot with live bull minnows and filled the cooler by early afternoon. This is hands-down the best flounder fishing in Alabama.

Sheepshead Were Thick on the Causeway
Fished the pilings along the Mobile Bay Causeway and absolutely hammered the sheepshead. Using fresh oysters for bait, we caught them two at a time. Several fish pushed 6 pounds. Winter sheepshead fishing in Mobile Bay is a blast.

Fall Run Produced a Grand Slam
Hit Mobile Bay during the fall mullet run and the fishing was off the charts. Caught speckled trout, redfish, and flounder all in the same session. The baitfish were pouring out of the delta and everything was feeding. Absolutely incredible day.

Nighttime Gigging Was a Blast
Went flounder gigging along the west shore of Mobile Bay on a calm night. The water was gin clear and the flounder were laid up thick on the sand. We gigged our limit in about two hours and had an unforgettable experience under the stars.

Mobile Delta Redfish Were On Fire
Ran up into the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and found schools of redfish pushing bait in the creeks. Threw gold spoons into the melee and got hit on almost every cast. The delta is an incredible fishery that more people need to know about.
