Trophy Stripers at the North Rip
Fished the North Rip at Block Island and the trophy Striped Bass were stacked in the current. Drifted live eels through the rip and hooked into cow bass over 50 inches. Block Island is one of the premier trophy striper destinations on the entire East Coast.

Bluefin Tuna Were Crushing South of the Island
Ran south of Block Island and found Bluefin Tuna busting on the surface along a temperature break. Hooked two giants and landed a beautiful 400-pounder after a long battle. The offshore waters around Block Island hold some of the biggest Bluefin in the Northeast.

Shark Fishing Was World Class
Chummed the deep water southeast of Block Island and had Mako Sharks coming to the boat within 30 minutes. Hooked a beautiful Mako that jumped clear of the water four times. Also caught Threshers and Blues. Block Island shark fishing is as good as it gets.

Surfcasting the Bluffs Was Spectacular
Surfcasted from the rocky bluffs on the south side of Block Island and caught Striped Bass on nearly every cast at sunset. The fish were pushing bait against the rocks and feeding aggressively. This island is a surfcaster dream destination.

Fall Striper Run Was One for the Ages
The fall Striped Bass run at Block Island was absolutely epic this year. Fish were blitzing bait all around the island and we caught bass on every technique from topwater to live bait. Several fish over 40 pounds. This is hands down the best striper fishing in Rhode Island.

If you are serious about fishing the Northeast you have to make the trip to Block Island. Trophy Stripers at the rips, giant Bluefin offshore, and world-class sharks. The island itself is beautiful and unspoiled. This is as good as fishing gets in the Atlantic.
