Fort Morgan Pass Was Loaded With Fish
Fished the mouth of Mobile Bay right at Fort Morgan and the redfish were stacked up in the pass on the outgoing tide. Also picked up some nice flounder and sheepshead around the rocks. This spot has incredible diversity for one location.

Cobia Were Cruising the Point
Set up at the tip of Fort Morgan peninsula and spotted cobia swimming along the beach. Sight-cast with live eels and hooked up four times. Boated two beautiful fish over 40 pounds each. Fort Morgan is a cobia hotspot every spring.

Offshore Snapper Run From Fort Morgan
Launched from Fort Morgan and had a short run to the reefs offshore. Limited out on red snapper within two hours and spent the rest of the day pulling triggerfish and amberjack. Having Gulf access right from the bay mouth saves so much time.

Speckled Trout on the Bay Side Were Money
Fished the bay side of Fort Morgan along the grass lines and the speckled trout were feeding heavily. Popping corks and live shrimp was the ticket. We landed over 20 solid trout before the tide slowed everything down. Gorgeous spot to fish.

King Mackerel Blitz Off the Point
The king mackerel were running thick off Fort Morgan point during the fall migration. We slow-trolled live menhaden and had five hookups in the first hour. Biggest king was just over 40 pounds. The fall run here is absolutely electric.

Jetty Fishing Produced an Amazing Catch
Fished the Fort Morgan jetties on the incoming tide and the action was constant. Sheepshead were on the rocks, redfish were in the channel, and we even hooked a stray flounder. This is one of the most productive shore-accessible spots in Alabama.
