Peconic Bay Fluke Were on Fire
Fished the Peconic Bay out of Greenport and the Fluke were stacked on the sandy edges. Drifted bucktails with Gulp and had steady action the entire trip. Loaded the cooler with thick keepers and had one doormat over 7 pounds. North Fork fishing at its best.

Stripers in the Sound Were Crushing
Trolled Long Island Sound near Plum Gut out of Greenport and the Striped Bass were feeding hard in the rip. Had multiple hookups on umbrella rigs and swimbaits. Boated over a dozen stripers with several pushing 40 inches in the fast-moving current.

Sea Bass Loaded on the Reefs
Dropped on the reef structure near Greenport and the Sea Bass were chewing from the first drop. Caught fish after fish on clam bait and jigs. Limited out quickly and spent the rest of the trip targeting Fluke on nearby sandy bottom. North Fork gem.

Porgy Bite Was Red Hot
Anchored up over structure in Peconic Bay and the Porgy were biting like crazy. Caught over 50 fish on small jigs and clam strips. Great eating fish and the kids loved the constant action. Greenport is a fantastic family-friendly fishing destination.

Fall Run Through the North Fork
Fished the fall Striper run as the fish pushed through Peconic Bay and into the Sound near Greenport. The migration had schools of bass stacked in the channels and the bite was wide open on jigs and live bait. Ended with a mix of quality Stripers and Bluefish.

This charming North Fork village has surprisingly good fishing year-round. We hit Peconic Bay for Fluke in the morning and ran to the Sound for Striped Bass in the afternoon. Wine country meets world-class fishing. What more could you ask for.
