Siuslaw River Chinook Going Off
The Chinook stacked up in the lower Siuslaw and we were right on top of them trolling kwikfish with sardine wraps. Boated six beautiful kings from 14 to 28 pounds — all hatchery fish destined for the smoker. The fall run in Florence is one of Oregon's best-kept secrets.

Rockfish Stacking Up Offshore
Ran 6 miles out to the reef and the rockfish were absolutely on fire. Black, blue, and canary rockfish came over the rail on every drop — we had full limits in under two hours. The Heceta Bank influence keeps these reefs productive year-round. Another stellar day out of Florence.

Dungeness Crab Loading the Pots
Set crab pots off the Siuslaw jetty in 45 feet and every pot came up heavy with legal Dungeness. Pulled limits of beautiful crabs averaging 2 pounds each with some absolute tanks mixed in. The December bite out of Florence is always reliable when the water temps drop.
