Anchored up in the channels off Homosassa and watched tarpon rolling at sunrise. Free-lined live crabs into the current and hooked three giant tarpon over 100 pounds. We fought them in crystal-clear water where you could see every jump. Homosassa tarpon fishing is a bucket-list experience.
Started the morning scalloping in the grass flats off Homosassa and filled our bags by noon. Then switched gears and fished the nearshore rocks for grouper and snapper. What a unique combo that only the Nature Coast can offer.

Found massive schools of sheepshead around the channel markers and bridge pilings near Homosassa. Dropped fiddler crabs right against the structure and it was instant hookups. We filled the cooler with thick sheepshead — amazing table fare.
