Striper Blitz at the Bay Mouth
We fished the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay near the Norfolk channel markers and found huge schools of Striped Bass. Trolled live eels along the drop-offs and hooked up consistently. Landed eight fish over 30 inches in a half-day trip.

Cobia Run Was Unreal
The summer cobia migration through the Chesapeake Bay mouth was in full swing and we sight-casted to dozens of fish cruising the surface near Norfolk. Landed four cobia on our charter with the biggest pushing 55 inches. Absolutely world-class fishery.

Elizabeth River Speckled Trout
Worked the grass flats and dock pilings along the Elizabeth River at first light and crushed the Speckled Trout on soft plastics. We boated over a dozen fish with several over 20 inches. Norfolk has some seriously underrated inshore fishing.

Flounder Fishing at Its Finest
Drifted live minnows along the sandy bottom near Willoughby Spit and nailed the Flounder all morning. The captain put us right on the fish every drift. We ended up with a limit of nice flatties and some great fillets to take home.

Fall Striper Action Was Nonstop
Fished the lower Chesapeake Bay off Norfolk during the fall migration and the Stripers were stacked up. Jigged with soft plastics and caught fish on nearly every drop. A dozen keeper bass all afternoon with a mix of Bluefish thrown in.

Great Mixed Bag Near the Naval Station
Fished the deeper water along the channel near Norfolk Naval Station and caught a great variety. Started with Flounder on the bottom then switched to topwater for Speckled Trout along the shoreline. Perfect day on the Chesapeake Bay.
