Redfish Were Tailing Everywhere
Poled the shallow flats of Biloxi Bay near Ocean Springs and found redfish tailing in the grass. Sight-cast to them with light tackle and connected on fish after fish. The clarity of the water on calm mornings here makes for incredible sight-fishing opportunities.

Bridge Pilings Held Quality Fish
Fished the Highway 90 bridge pilings near Ocean Springs and the sheepshead and speckled trout were stacked up. The sheepshead were on fiddler crabs and the trout hit live shrimp. An easy and productive spot that is perfect for a quick half-day trip.

Fall Slam in Biloxi Bay
Hit Biloxi Bay during the fall mullet run and caught speckled trout on the reefs, redfish on the shorelines, and flounder in the channel. Completed a Mississippi inshore slam before noon. Ocean Springs puts you right in the middle of phenomenal fall fishing.

Topwater Trout Blowups Were Insane
Fished the shallow flats of Biloxi Bay in the early morning and the speckled trout were smashing topwater plugs. The explosions on the surface were incredible. Caught over 25 trout before the sun got high. Ocean Springs is a topwater paradise in the warm months.

Launched the kayak from the Ocean Springs harbor and paddled to the nearby grass flats. Sight-cast to redfish and caught several beautiful slot fish on gold spoons. The accessibility and quality of the fishing in Biloxi Bay makes Ocean Springs a perfect kayak fishing destination.

Biloxi Bay Trout Were Thick
Fished the grass flats and oyster beds in Biloxi Bay right out of Ocean Springs. The speckled trout were schooled up and feeding under the birds. Caught our limit on soft plastics and had incredible action all morning. Ocean Springs is the heart of Mississippi inshore fishing.
