Limits of Lingcod Off Trinidad Head
We launched out of Trinidad and worked the reef structure in 120 feet of water. Every drift produced quality lingcod up to 18 pounds on swimbaits. Mixed in some beautiful coppers and vermilions on the shrimp flies to round out a top-shelf day.

King Salmon Wide Open at the Jetties
The Humboldt Bay jetties were on fire today with Chinook salmon stacked up in 35 feet of water. We trolled anchovies behind flashers and had our six-fish limit by 9 AM. Biggest king went 24 pounds and fought like a freight train in the current.

Solid Halibut Bite on the Flats
Worked the sandy flats just south of the jetty in 60 feet and found a nice grade of Pacific halibut feeding on the incoming tide. Landed four keepers between 15 and 28 pounds using live anchovies on sliding sinker rigs. Current was stiff but the fish were committed.
