Incredible Day at the CBBT
We worked the pilings of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and absolutely hammered the Red Drum. Our captain knew every structure and current break along the span. Ended up with a cooler full of Drum and a couple beautiful Flounder as a bonus.

Yellowfin Were Crushing It Offshore
Ran about 60 miles to the Norfolk Canyon and found solid yellowfin feeding on the surface. We boated six quality fish all over 40 pounds by noon. Best offshore trip I have had in years out of Virginia Beach.

Cobia Sight-Casting Paradise
Virginia Beach in the summer is unbeatable for cobia sight-casting along the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. We spotted at least 20 fish on the surface and landed five cobia over 40 inches. The captain kept us on fish all morning long.

Wreck Fishing Was Outstanding
Fished the nearshore wrecks about 15 miles off Virginia Beach and the Tautog bite was lights out. We dropped jigs right on the structure and caught our limit before lunch. Mixed in some nice Sea Bass and a big Flounder too.

Trophy Stripers in the Bay Mouth
Hit the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay during the fall run and it was nonstop action on big Striped Bass. Trolled umbrella rigs along the shipping channel edges and landed over a dozen keepers. Several fish pushed past 40 inches.

Best Flounder Trip of My Life
Drifted the shallows near the CBBT islands and absolutely crushed the Flounder on bucktails tipped with minnows. We put 15 keepers in the box with a couple doormats over 24 inches. Virginia Beach has some of the best Flounder fishing on the East Coast.
