Tarpon in the Indian River were on the move
Found tarpon rolling in the Indian River Lagoon near Stuart and drifted live mullet to them. Jumped six tarpon and landed three beautiful silvers between 60 and 100 pounds. The Indian River tarpon fishery is one of the Treasure Coast's best-kept secrets.

Bottom fishing on the reefs was incredible
Dropped down on the reef about two miles offshore and the bottom fishing was lights out. Caught a beautiful mix of mutton snapper, lane snapper, and a nice grouper. Stuart reef fishing is easily accessible and always productive.

Redfish and trout on the Indian River flats
Fished the grass flats and mangrove shorelines of the Indian River near Stuart with soft plastics and the redfish and trout were feeding all morning. Caught a dozen reds and eight trout. The Indian River Lagoon flats fishing near Stuart is outstanding.

Fished the edge off Stuart and the sailfish were everywhere. Kite-fished with live goggle eyes and released 11 sailfish in one day. Stuart has earned the title of Sailfish Capital of the World and today was proof.

Snook explosion at the St. Lucie Inlet
Fished the St. Lucie Inlet on the outgoing tide and the snook were absolutely crushing live pilchards. Caught 14 snook with several over 30 inches. The inlet fishing around Stuart is some of the best snook fishing on the Treasure Coast.

Mahi were thick on the current edge
Found beautiful color changes about eight miles out of Stuart and the dolphin were absolutely loaded on the weed lines. Caught 18 mahi on light spinning tackle, keeping our limit of fat bulls. Stuart offshore dolphin fishing in the spring is world-class.
