Snook fishing was absolutely on fire
Worked the mangrove shorelines and oyster bars in Naples Bay and the snook were ambushing live pilchards on every cast. Caught 15 snook with four over 30 inches. Naples Bay has some of the most consistent snook fishing in all of Southwest Florida.

Tarpon at Gordon Pass were incredible
Set up at Gordon Pass during the outgoing tide and the tarpon were stacked in the current. Free-lined live mullet and jumped six tarpon, landing three over 100 pounds. Naples tarpon fishing during the spring migration is a world-class experience.

Permit on the wrecks — dream come true
Found permit schooled up over some nearshore wrecks off Naples and pitched live crabs to them on spinning tackle. Hooked four and landed two beautiful permit between 20 and 25 pounds. Catching permit on light tackle is the ultimate saltwater challenge.

Explored the backcountry mangrove creeks south of Naples and caught an inshore slam by 9 AM. Redfish, snook, and speckled trout all on soft plastics in skinny water. The backcountry fishing near Naples is pristine and uncrowded.

Grouper were stacked on the offshore ledges
Ran about 25 miles offshore to some natural ledges and the gag grouper were eating everything we dropped down. Boxed our limit of beautiful gags plus some fat red grouper. Naples offshore bottom fishing is some of the best on the Gulf Coast.

Naples Pier produced nonstop action
Fished the flats and structure near the Naples Pier and the variety was unbelievable. Snook, redfish, pompano, and jack crevalle all came to the boat within a couple hours. Naples is a year-round fishing destination that always delivers.
