Sailfish were on fire off Miami Beach
Kite-fished in about 200 feet of water off Miami Beach and the sailfish were hot. Raised 10 sails and released seven on live goggle eyes and threadfins. Miami is one of the best sailfishing destinations in the world and today proved it.

Swordfishing in the deep was incredible
Made an overnight swordfishing trip out of Miami and dropped baits to 1,800 feet. Connected on two broadbill swordfish including a beauty that went 250 pounds. Daytime swordfishing out of Miami is a world-class fishery that is truly one of a kind.

Mahi were stacked on the current edge
Found a sharp color change on the edge of the Gulf Stream about 12 miles off Miami and the mahi were absolutely piled up. Caught over 25 dolphin on light tackle with the biggest pushing 40 pounds. Also picked up a couple of wahoo.

Snapper fishing on the reef was incredible
Dropped down on the reef in about 100 feet off Miami and the mutton snapper and yellowtail were chewing nonstop. Chummed them up and caught a huge mixed bag of reef fish. Also landed a beautiful black grouper on a live bait.

Tarpon in Government Cut were insane
Fished Government Cut at the Port of Miami during the tarpon migration and these fish were everywhere. Drifted live mullet in the current and jumped eight tarpon, landing four between 80 and 120 pounds. Miami urban tarpon fishing is absolutely unique.

Kingfish tournament day to remember
Slow-trolled live baits along the first reef line off Miami and the kingfish were stacked up thick. Boated eight kings including a 45-pounder that would have placed in any tournament. Miami kingfish fishing from November through March is elite.
